Who is/was your favorite person to interview on the radio and why?
I got to interview Tom Cruise when he was promoting the movie "Collateral" (pre-Katie Holmes days). I was SO nervous and he was so kind. Not only is he one of the biggest celebrities I've ever talked to, but he was probably the easiest interview - he actually made ME feel comfortable, kept referring to me by name and even said hi to my mom. Call me crazy, but I'm still a fan. Even though he's a little "off" sometimes...
What's your worst embarassing radio moment ?
I was interviewing the band "Augustana", and in the middle of the chat, I completely lost my train of thought, and started referring to them as "The Fray." I still have the audio from that interview and I cringe when I hear it - it was so awkard! Fortunately, they teased me a bit, but took it as a compliment.
Things we wouldn't know unless we asked:
I'm a celeb gossip addict - and can often be found browsing Perez Hilton's website or reading Star Magazine.
I hate the sound of popping balloons and people who stand too close to you in line (any line).
I love to read - but don't do it often enough! If you have any great book suggestions you'd like to pass along, email me!
