Tax Relief For Flood Areas
The IRS and the state of Missouri have granted a tax deadline extension to 35 counties in the state. The following counties have until May 19th to file their taxes (and it doesn't matter if your home was affected by the flooding or not):

Bollinger, Butler, Callaway, Carter, Christian, Franklin, Gasconade, Cape Girardeau, Greene, Howard, Iron, Jasper, Jefferson, Laclede, Madison, Maries, McDonald, Newton, Oregon, Osage, Phelps, Pulaski, Reynolds, Ripley, Scott, Shannon, St. Francois, St. Louis County, Stoddard, Stone, Taney, Texas, Washington, Wayne and Webster.

No counties in Southern Illinois are affected.
