Mel Gibson and his baby mama, Oksana Grigorieva, welcomed a baby girl on Friday. Sources say Mel is fed up with his new girlfriend, and has finally realized that she is a golddigger, self-absorbed, and using him for his fame and money.
"Parade" magazine put out the list of the most giving celebs of 2008. Despite passing in September of last year, no celebrity came close to Paul Newman. Here's the top ten:

Twilight Fight...Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson talk "Twilight" in the latest issue of Vanity Fair, out November 10th. Robert denies a romantic relationship with his co-star, saying "I've literally been across the country (from Kristen), and it's like 'Oh, they were on secret dates!' It's like 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!'"
Kristen, on the other hand, seems so put off by having to star in the "Twilight" series. She tells VF that the whole situation is absurd: "We're characters in this comic book."

The NYC Marathon was this weekend, and among celebrities Edward Norton placed first. He finished the marathon with a time of 3 hours and 48 minutes. Anthony Edwards and Alanis Morissette also finished the race.

The crypt above Marilyn Monroe's sold back a few months ago, but was for sale again over the weekend. The owner is a woman, whose husband had been buried there for several years. She decided to move her husband and auction off the space. Back in August, a buyer pledged $4.6 million, but failed to come up with the money. The second eBay auction failed to attract a buyer.
Seth MacFarlane's variety show has found a sponsor on FOX. The "Family Guy" creator lost Microsoft - the original sponsor for his show, "'Family Guy' Presents: Seth and Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show". They pulled out after they saw an early preview for the show and were worried about the content of the show (have the people at Microsoft not watched Family Guy?) The film opening Christmas Day, "Sherlock Holmes", is the new sponsor.
